VACANCY – MAINTENANCE DEPARTMENT

Portland Cement Malawi Limited invites applications from suitably qualified, highly motivated team players and result driven candidates for consideration to fill the following positions:

METHODS ENGINEER

The core duties of the methods engineer will be to ensure the maintenance system is well executed with the aim of increasing equipment reliability. This will be responsible for equipment assessment, scheduling, spare parts management and ensuring best maintenance practice are executed. This role will report to head of maintenance.

EDUCATION BACKGROUND AND EXPERIENCE

Degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent
Five years’ experience in manufacturing or processing industries
Minimum of one year experience as methods engineer, planning engineer, preventive maintenance engineer and other similar roles

NOTE

These roles are for Makata plant in Blantyre but all applicants must be willing to be re-located to Balaka.
